Angela Howard has worked in the field of education for more than 20 years. She is a proud graduate of St. Louis Public Schools. Later, she attained her Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Harris Stowe University and her Masters degree in Educational Leadership from Lindenwood University both located in the St. Louis area. Her number one passion is creating educational opportunities and learning environments whereby students can excel. Ms. Howard has assisted in opening three charter schools from its inception. Her traditional and charter school experience, as well as, her leadership roles have afforded her the opportunity to become well versed in many aspects of school programming and operations.
Previously, Ms. Howard has served as a teacher responsible for the education of various grades and disciplines from 2nd grade to 7th grade. She has also served as a Curriculum and Instructional Coordinator responsible for the creation and implementation of educational standards at various school levels. She has been an Assistant Principal for Middle School overseeing programs, developing curriculum, and creating assessments and plans of study, as well as, setting the tone for educational standards. As Principal –Ms. Howard was responsible for recruiting, marketing, and hiring of staff while creating academic programs and protocol for the students she served. She is currently an Adjunct Faculty member for the University of Phoenix, a Director of Operations for the Tutorial Resource Center located in Florissant, Missouri, as well as, an educator for the Ferguson-Florissant School District.
